Back in Canada

So, we missed American Independence Day by one day, and we missed Canada Day on July 1st by a few days too.

But here’s a delightful song by my favourite astronaut who also happens to be one of my favourite Canadians

Camped at Twin Lakes yukon park. A nice park, but after two days of warm weather it rained all night again.

  1. Margaret Smith says:

Are the ferry still free in Canada as we found them on our trips there? x

    • Judy says:

We’ve only been on the one in Dawson City so far, Margaret and it was free. It was the only way go get across the river, no bridge there.

  2. Margaret & Derick Smith says:

Apparently the ferries are free as they are extension of the roads. So we were told .x

    • Judy says:

That sounds sensible – it’s the same in Australia. But we paid for the ferries we used in Norway, maybe because there were road alternatives but the ferries made for much shorter routes
