You won’t associate my name to me but we camped very close by in Cooktown Caravan Park and enjoyed many good chats. I was driving a black BMW M3 sports sedan and cf your bike I was definitely soft. Thanks for sharing your blog. It is great reading about your amazing trip. Apologies for not ‘shouting’ you a few hamburgers but if you’re in Melbourne you should still collect. I shared my blog with a US friend and told him how good the Cape is. His wife’s father did his WWII service as an aircraft mechanic at Cooktown Airport so you’ve also given her some insight into where her father was.
